Alumni
Stay connected and engaged with UCI Informatics alumni worldwide
The impact of our alumni on the world is far-reaching, thanks to our wide variety of undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs in the areas of informatics, business information management, software engineering, game design and interactive media, and human-computer interaction. From launching innovative startups to taking up leadership roles in organizations large and small, our alumni are putting to work the departmental mission of improving people’s lives through information and technology. They are contributing to the software that connects us to one another and that runs the energy grid. They are entertaining us on Steam and in movie theaters. They are helping set policy at major corporations and government institutions, and their influence can be felt both locally and across the world.
Many of our alumni are also making a difference for our current students, giving back in unprecedented ways. Some donate their time by giving guest lectures or mentoring members of a student club. Others recruit our students for internships and jobs, or they offer support for fellowships and scholarships. Regardless, the difference they are making continues to help disseminate the informatics brand, mission, and values to the world.

ICS Alumni Chapter
One of the best ways to stay involved with other alumni is to connect with the ICS Alumni Chapter, which is an active group that comes together to create and share opportunities to reconnect and do some community outreach. Connect with the Alumni Chapter on social media and in person to share stories, network, learn, think, and do fun things in the spirit of your alma mater and technology. Also, if you would like to volunteer or get involved behind the scenes with chapter events, reach out to uciicsalumnichapter@gmail.com.
